Women United ART MOVEMENT is a global online platform dedicated to supporting and highlighting the works of women-identifying artists worldwide to contribute to increasing the visibility of this underrepresented group of creatives. Through the platform, we organise virtual solo and group exhibits, run a podcast, publish a magazine, provide business education to artists and host an annual art prize.
The platform was launched in 2021 by Mona Lerch, Europe-based visual artist, artist coach and CEO of Women United ART MOVEMENT.
As of 2023, we welcomed a new team member - Texas-based visual artist and educator Heather Sportsman, who supports the platform's operations as a Creative Assistant & Design Consultant.
Our in-house magazine contributors are Rachel Le Roux, a visual artist and interior architect based in The Philippines (Women In The Arts, Art Unlimited, Your Creative Diaries sections), and Kristy Okkonen - Finnish-Australian abstract artist based in Bulgaria (unless she's on the road; The Travelling Artist, Tools For Artists sections).
