ARTIST STATEMENT

After my experience in theatre, I naturally continue to work with emotions through textile art, which, like theatre, constructs narratives and evokes tension. I'm interested in the complexity of human identity and inspired by the beauty of imperfect things.

In my work, I seek to infuse poetry into materials, weaving landscapes with imbalances and obstacles that are also present in human communication. Through the textile medium, I discover liberation in gesture: my hands feel, think, and act. Textiles become records of memory.
