MEET THE JURORS
Ashara Shapiro is a multidisciplinary creative, arts educator, and entrepreneur. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Emerson College (BFA in Acting and Theater Education), she brings a rich performance background alongside her passions for creative writing, design, and community engagement.

Ashara is the founder of ArtWRKD, an art consortium in Newtown, PA — a dynamic space featuring a gallery, artists’ studios, workshops, and a curated boutique — all designed to foster and celebrate the work of emerging artists. From her ArtWRKD studio, she also produces her own wearable art under the label ARecherche.

A published poet, with work appearing in The Pandemic Project, Shocking Verbs, Lawless Nouns, and Neshaminy, Ashara is a passionate advocate for growing, sharing, and promoting creativity across disciplines.

Mona Lerch is a multidisciplinary visual artist, founder of Women United ART MOVEMENT, editorial designer, artist coach, podcast host, annual art prize organizer, magazine editor-in-chief, and curator — recognized for her passionate leadership and strong advocacy for women artists.

With a background in criminology (MSc) and over two decades of experience as a dancer, choreographer, and arts educator, Mona brings a unique blend of discipline, creativity, and compassion to her practice. Her art — a rich fusion of figurative and abstract — resonates with themes of transformation, healing, spirituality, and resilience.

Mona’s work is held in private collections across the globe, and through her initiatives, she helps foster a strong, collaborative network that supports, guides, and inspires women artists at all stages of their careers.

Victoria J. Fry is a New York City-based painter, educator, gallery director, and podcast host. She is the founder of Visionary Art Collective, New Visionary Magazine, and Warnes Contemporary. Through her work with these platforms, Fry has supported thousands of artists globally, offering resources, mentorship, and opportunities to help them advance their art careers.
Dedicated to increasing visibility for emerging artists, Fry collaborates with leading curators and gallerists to present both in-person and virtual exhibitions at Warnes Contemporary and beyond. She is the publisher of New Visionary Magazine and host of the acclaimed New Visionary Podcast.
Fry has been a guest speaker for the School of Visual Arts (NYC), Salmagundi Club (NYC) National Association of Women Artists, the Women’s Caucus for Art in Washington, D.C., Superfine Art Fair, Photo Trouvée Magazine, The Art Queens Society, Wilder Collage, and Huron River Art Collective. She has curated a wide range of exhibitions and served on the juried panel for numerous art organizations in NYC and beyond.
She holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts (2012) and an MAT from the Maine College of Art & Design (2014).

Yvadney Davis is a South London-based multidisciplinary artist working across painting, printmaking and collage. Rooted in her working-class Black British Caribbean heritage, her practice explores themes of nostalgia, identity, belonging and the evolving concept of home.
Drawing on memories, family histories and the visual language of the Windrush Generation, she creates richly textured figurative works that celebrate joy, resilience and cultural legacy.

A former fashion stylist with a BA in Fashion Design, Davis brings a distinctive sensitivity to colour, pattern and materiality, incorporating vintage wallpapers, decorative objects and intaglio printmaking into works that bridge past and present. Her work opens conversations around displacement, justice and ancestral memory while inviting viewers to connect with their own experiences.

Yvadney Davis was the First Place Winner in the Painting & Drawing category of the Women United ART PRIZE 2022 and returns this year as one of the prize jurors. She is also the recipient of the HSFK Commission Prize 2024/25, recognising the continued impact and significance of her artistic practice.
