At Parsons School of Design, Tara earned a BFA with a focus on plein-air landscape painting, but over time, her artistic style underwent a profound transformation. She transitioned from the realm of objective representation to the abstract, guided by her desire to convey not just what she saw but what she felt. This shift marked the evolution of her signature style, characterized by intricate mark-making, multiple layers of paint, and a vibrant palette of colors.

As an abstract artist, my work explores the interplay of color, form, and texture to create a visual language that speaks to the complexity of the human experience. Through a process of layering and manipulating materials, I create a sense of depth and movement, capturing the viewer's attention and drawing them in.
