WOMEN UNITED
ARTIST RESIDENCY

The Women United ARTIST RESIDENCY is a year-long, deeply personalized mentorship and creative partnership designed to support artists in building sustainable practices, refining their artistic voice, and bringing meaningful bodies of work into the world with clarity and confidence.

This intimate 12-month residency is intentionally limited to a small number of artists, allowing for focused, one-to-one guidance and ongoing support. Through twice-monthly private sessions, continuous access for questions and feedback, and a collaborative strategic approach, each artist is supported both creatively and professionally — from conceptual development and studio practice to visibility, storytelling, and career direction.

Residents also receive opportunities to deepen their presence within the Women United ART MOVEMENT ecosystem, including a magazine feature, podcast interview, solo exhibition opportunity, and access to new workshops throughout the year. The residency is not simply a coaching program — it is a creative container designed to foster growth, accountability, experimentation, and long-term transformation.

DEBRA COOK SHAPIRO

Debra Cook Shapiro is a San Francisco–based figurative painter whose expressive, narrative-driven works explore human connection within imaginative, emotionally rich settings. Rooted in gesture, color, and storytelling, her practice reflects a lifelong fascination with relationships shaped by early experiences of solitude and observation. Trained in the U.S. and Florence, Italy, she has exhibited widely, including solo shows in San Francisco and participation in international art fairs such as Superfine SF, Superfine Brooklyn, and the LA Art Fair, while continuing to teach and mentor emerging artists alongside her studio practice.

ELEFTHERIA EASLEY

Eleftheria Easley is a NOVA-based mixed media and collage artist whose layered works explore material storytelling, pattern, and the emotional resonance of found elements. With a BFA in Graphic Design from Boston University and a practice shaped by life across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, she creates richly textured compositions that invite connection through memory and juxtaposition. Alongside exhibiting internationally, she teaches workshops and actively supports her local arts community through curation and collaboration.
