ARTIST STATEMENT
For me, painting is a sacred practice that has brought much healing. As I share my work with the world, I pray that viewers experience their own healing through connection to self and The Creator. There is a focus in my work of Healing Thru Color, Ancestral veneration, transmuting pain into beauty, and simply celebrating life. Being raised in Memphis – home of The Blues – I was taught at a young age the importance of transmuting pain into something beautiful.
I love taking on commission work with prayer requests -- meditating on others’ prayers & dreams, creating visual abstract pieces inspired by spiritual requests. My grandparents were both preachers and I consider myself to be a Spirit-led painter. It is an honor to contribute to this world's creative community.
