ARTIST BIO

Natasha Sosnova is a mixed-media artist whose work explores healing, transformation, and the quiet power of resilience.

Born and raised in Ukraine, she immigrated to the United States at the age of twenty in search of opportunity and a better future. Through discipline and perseverance, she earned her nursing degree and devoted more than two decades to caring for others, specializing in hospice care — a profession rooted in compassion, presence, and emotional depth.

In 2022, as war returned to her homeland, Natasha became actively involved in helping Ukrainian refugee families find safety and rebuild their lives in America. During this emotionally intense period, she was guided toward painting as a form of healing and self-expression. What began as therapy soon evolved into a calling.

Working primarily with sculpted plaster, acrylics, metallic leaf, crystal, and luminous resin, Natasha creates richly textured works that blur the boundary between painting and sculpture. Her process is intuitive and deeply personal, often inspired by emotional states, symbolism, and the belief that art can carry intention and energy.

Through her brand Energy with Natasha, she creates one-of-a-kind pieces designed not only to transform interiors, but to uplift, protect, and restore emotional balance. Her work invites the viewer into a space of reflection, harmony, and quiet strength.

ARTIST STATEMENT

My work is created as a form of healing, reflection, and energetic transformation.

I approach each piece intuitively, allowing emotion, memory, and inner sensation to guide the image, color, and texture that emerge. Rather than planning a composition in advance, I listen — to feeling, to movement, to the quiet language beneath thought. Each artwork becomes a record of a moment, a state of being, a process of release and renewal.

Working with sculpted plaster, acrylics, metallic leaf, crystal, and luminous resin, I build surfaces that exist between painting and sculpture. Texture is essential to my practice. It allows the work to carry depth, light, and physical presence — inviting the viewer not only to see, but to feel.

At the center of my practice is the belief that art holds energy. I create pieces not simply to decorate a space, but to influence it — to bring calm, strength, protection, and balance into the environments they inhabit. Many of my works are inspired by symbols drawn from nature and the subconscious, reflecting themes of resilience, transformation, duality, and inner harmony.

Through Energy with Natasha, I create one-of-a-kind works intended to function as visual meditations — objects that quietly support emotional well-being and invite connection with the self. My goal is to offer viewers not only beauty, but a sense of grounding, reflection, and gentle healing.
